Truly Lace by Coty c1992

Truly Lace was launched by Coty in 1992.


 

Truly Lace was available in the following products:
  • Bath crystals
  • Body lotion
  • Dusting powder
  • Talc
  • Cologne spray 
  • Fragrance sachet


Coty Inc. developed the fragrances L'Effleur and Truly Lace, influenced by the period revival. Victoria magazine contributing editor Cynthia Hart designed the perfume's packaging. Cynthia Hart used fresh flowers and authentic antique Victorian scrap diecuts and fabrics to create gorgeous designs that appealed to many women.


Fragrance Composition:


So what does it smell like? It is classified as a floral fragrance for women with a blend of well-balanced orange flowers and sweet spices.
  • Top notes: orange blossom, gardenia, green notes, fruity notes and bergamot 
  • Middle notes: tuberose, orchid, jasmine, ylang-ylang, lily-of-the-valley and rose 
  • Base notes: sandalwood, amber, musk, oakmoss, vanilla and cedar

Fate of the Fragrance:


Truly Lace is a discontinued perfume and can be found on ebay. The floral designs for the collection was created by author Cynthia Hart, who used fresh flowers and authentic antique Victorian scrap die cuts and fabrics to create gorgeous designs that appealed to many women.

The goal of this website is to show the present owners of the Coty company how much we miss the discontinued classics such as Truly Lace and hopefully, if they see that there is enough interest and demand, they will bring back the original formula of the perfume!
