Raffinee by Houbigant c1982

Raffinee by Houbigant: launched in 1982. The name is intended to evoke a certain refined elegance, as reflected in the packaging of lacquered red and gold. Presented in a bottle designed by Alain de Mourgues.

Fragrance Composition:

So what does it smell like? It is classified as a floral oriental fragrance for women. Raffinee is composed of over two hundred ingredients, combining floral and oriental notes, including jasmine, rose and hyacinth laced with spices, herbs and incense.

  • Top notes: carnation, orange blossom, plum, clary sage, jasmine, citruses, bergamot and rose
  • Middle notes: spices, mimosa, tuberose, tonka bean, orchid, osmanthus, orris root, hyacinth and ylang-ylang
  • Base notes: tonka bean, spices, herbs, cypress, sandalwood, cinnamon, musk, vanilla, vetiver and frankincense.
