Amber by Charbert c1936

Amber by Charbert was launched in 1936 and smells absolutely divine. For lovers of vanilla and amber, this one is great.

Fragrance Composition:

Since there are no official notes listed anywhere, I will take the opportunity to use my vintage perfume nip of this scent and will tell you what notes I detect. Vanilla, amber, cloves, carnation, nutmeg, benzoin, heliotrope, oakmoss, vetiver, myrrh, labdanum and sandalwood.
  • Top notes: bergamot, nutmeg, cloves
  • Middle notes: carnation, heliotrope
  • Base notes: vanilla, vetiver, oakmoss, myrrh, labdanum, sandalwood, amber, musk

On paper, the perfume has a lot of the greener notes, on the skin its pure sweet vanilla, earthy musk and powdery amber sweetness.
"Charbert Amber. Worldly wicked, wonderful. The perfume for night life. Deep, exciting musky scent that guarantees high voltage come-hither looks"

Fate of the Fragrance:

Discontinued, date unknown.
