Around 1972, RH Cosmetics Corp of New York launched the RH Musk Oil. Followed by RH Mystic Musk Oil, RH Strawberry Musk Oil, RH Lemon Musk Oil, RH Civet Oil and RH Ambergris Oil.

RH's Oils seem to have been discontinued around 1978? I bought this on etsy in 2018 for a very cheap price. I think the seller realized what she had was worth a lot more than what she sold it to me for and refused to honor the sale, saying that she lost the bottle somewhere. I never did hear back from her and never saw it again for sale by her. Needless to say, I was disappointed that I didn't get the chance to smell this coveted musk scent.

In the latter 60's and early '70's I lived in NJ and came upon RH Mystic Musk Oil in a quaint hippy type incense/jewellery boutique. Only needed a touch of it here and there and after a short time could not smell it on myself, but everyone else could and I often got compliments on what a wonderful scent it was. After returning to Canada later in the '70's I could not find it here and even tried to buy it when I went back to the U.S., but it was no longer available. I have tried other Musks, but never have any compared to HR. I found some brands to have more of a chemical scent underlying and much heavier than HR. I've missed it all these years and would love to see it return as long as it was in it's original formula.
