Ambush by Dana c1955

Ambush by Dana was launched in 1955. It was reportedly created by Jean Carles.



It was available in parfum and eau de cologne.



Fragrance Composition:

So what does it smell like? It is a slightly woody oriental fragrance for women with crisp fruity notes.
  • Top notes: aldehydes, lemon, peach, bergamot, sage, melon, basil, mandarin, chamomile, lime oil
  • Heart notes: rose, lavender, plum, carnation, jasmine, angelica, iris, geranium, reseda, ylang ylang, orchid, heliotrope, clover
  • Base notes: ambergris, cedar, vetiver, vanilla, oak moss, Indian sandalwood, patchouli, tonka bean and musk

Fate of the Fragrance:

It was discontinued sometime in the 1970s. In 1997, the perfume was reformulated with modern ingredients, re-packaged and re-launched. Currently discontinued.
