Torrente by Parfums Torrente: launched in 1977, in USA in 1978.

 

Fragrance Composition:

So what does it smell like? It is classified as a spicy floral woody fragrance for women. It begins with a green flowery top, followed by a radiant floral heart, resting on a powdery, woody base.

• Top notes: aldehydes, gardenia, peach, hyacinth, neroli, galbanum, carnation
• Middle notes: tuberose, lily of the valley, jasmine, rose, Comoros ylang ylang, magnolia, orris
• Base notes: oakmoss, civet, cedar, musk, Mysore sandalwood, vetiver, ambrette

Eau de Torrente - Eau de Toilette:

So what does it smell like? It is classified as a fresh floral woody fragrance for women.  

• Top notes:  galbanum, magnolia,  lily of the valley
• Middle notes: jasmine, rose, ylang ylang, orris
• Base notes: vetiver, cedar, sandalwood, ambrette

The Eau de Toilette was available in the following sizes:

• 16 oz Splash
• 8 oz Splash
• 4 oz Splash
• 2 oz Splash
• 4 oz Spray (refillable)

 

Fate of the Fragrance:

In 1980, Chen Yu (Eugène Gallia & Co) was given the license to Parfums Torrente.

Discontinued, date unknown. This perfume is VERY hard to find.
