Cardin de Pierre Cardin launched in 1976.



Fragrance Composition:


So what does it smell like? It was classified as a floral chypre fragrance for women. It starts with a fruity, powdery, aldehydic top, followed by a sweet floral heart, resting on a sensual powdery base. Slightly green floral bouquet with oriental qualities. Feminine semi-oriental green scent.
  • Top notes: galbanum, raspberry, citrus, aldehydes, bergamot, herbs, clove, and cumin
  • Middle notes: carnation, orris, honey, lily, rose de mai, Bulgarian rose, ylang-ylang, hyacinth absolute, and jasmine
  • Base notes: patchouli, oak, cedar, amber, civet, musk, labdanum, oakmoss, sandalwood, and vetiver
Cardin de Pierre Cardin is the designer's first fragrance for women. It has floral accents achieved with oils, such as jasmine, rose, ylang ylang and hyacinth, which are combined with spices, herbs, citrus, musk, amber and earthy leaves to create an oriental bouquet. The perfume has the ame "futuristic" feeling as his clothes. It was marketed as "a sophisticated fragrance for the woman of today and tomorrow. "
