Misha by Mikhail Baryshnikov 1989. His nickname; in association with Richard Barrie Fragrances.


It took seven months to come up with the combination of ingredients that make up Misha. "I want to like it myself," said Baryshnikov. "I got emotionally involved with this fragrance...this project has purified my brain and my soul," the danseur said.

Fragrance Composition:


So what does it smell like? It is classified a rich mossy floral chypre fragrance for women. A floral chypre, it combined oranges with rose, jasmine and ylang ylang with woods and mosses. Distinct and strong, this is not a perfume for the faint of heart.
  • Top notes: orange, bergamot, amalfi lemon, peach, lavender, narcissus, marigold
  • Middle notes: carnation, ylang ylang, French orange blossom, Egyptian jasmine, cinnamon, Moroccan rose, Bulgarian rose, raspberry
  • Base notes: Mysore sandalwood, cedar, musk, vetiver, patchouli, amber, oakmoss



Bottle:


The bottle looks like a tour-jete in crystal and was designed by Pierre Dinand in 1989. It was manufactured by Pochet et du Courval with plastic components supplied by L'Eumail.
