Bill Blass by Bill Blass c1978

Bill Blass for Women by Bill Blass: launched in 1978 in association with Revlon.

For the launch of the perfume, the press was invited to a brunch at I. Magnin in New York City. Later that day, 33 of Bill Blass' friends were invited to a Bistro lunch.

Fragrance Composition:

So what does it smell like? It is classified as a floral fragrance for women. It begins with a green, fruity top, followed by an exotic floral heart, resting on a sensual, powdery base. An accord of mimosa, jonquil, hyacinth and jasmine, wooded and warmed.

Bill Blass, the original fragrance has been discontinued for many years.

The oldest versions have boxes marked with  Bill Blass Perfumes, Inc.

In 1985, the name Bill Blass, Inc was also seen on packaging.

In 1990 the brand was distributed by Prestige Fragrances.

There is a new Bill Blass perfume that came out in 2006, but it bears no resemblance to the 1978 vintage version.

The Fragrance from Bill Blass by Bill Blass is classified as a floral fragrance for women. It has been discontinued but can still be found plentifully online.
