Scent Profile:

Eau Pour Homme by Armani is a classic citrus-woody fragrance that opens with a burst of vibrant, zesty top notes. As you experience the fragrance, the freshness of bergamot greets you first, its sharp, slightly bitter citrus aroma invigorating and crisp. This is quickly followed by the lively, tangy essence of Californian lime, adding a bright, juicy quality that is both refreshing and uplifting. Italian mandarin provides a softer, sweeter citrus note, balancing the sharper elements with its smooth, almost honeyed scent. Calabrian lemon brings an additional layer of tartness, enhancing the overall citrus character. Petitgrain, extracted from the leaves and twigs of the bitter orange tree, adds a green, slightly woody undertone, complementing the citrus elements with a hint of aromatic complexity. The herbal freshness of basil introduces a subtle peppery note, while sweet orange and neroli from Grasse lend a soft, floral-citrus nuance, enriching the top notes with a light, airy sweetness.

As the fragrance transitions into its heart, the citrusy opening gives way to a warm and spicy bouquet. The heart notes are rich with the warm, aromatic scent of cinnamon, which adds a cozy, slightly sweet spiciness. Bay leaf introduces a fresh, herbal quality, while coriander brings a touch of citrusy warmth with its aromatic, peppery undertone. The presence of carnation infuses the heart with a soft, clove-like spiciness, complemented by the gentle, floral scent of rose and lily. Provencal lavender adds a calming, floral-herbal note, blending seamlessly with the other spices. Nutmeg enhances the spicy complexity, offering a warm, nutty aroma, while clove buds deepen the fragrance with their rich, pungent scent. The inclusion of jasmine adds a delicate, sweet floral touch, balancing the spice and herb notes with its timeless, elegant aroma.

The base of Eau Pour Homme is characterized by a robust, earthy blend of woods and mosses. Castoreum, with its animalic and slightly leathery quality, provides a warm, sensual undertone, adding depth and richness to the fragrance. Seychelles patchouli introduces an earthy, slightly sweet element, contributing to the fragrance's longevity and complexity. Oakmoss lends a classic chypre character, with its earthy, mossy aroma adding a natural, forest-like quality. Atlas cedar imparts a dry, woody note, enhancing the fragrance's masculine appeal, while Mysore sandalwood adds a creamy, smooth woodiness, softening the composition with its rich, warm undertones. Reunion vetiver brings a smoky, earthy quality, grounding the fragrance with its deep, grassy scent. Finally, a subtle hint of musk provides a soft, powdery finish, rounding out the fragrance with a sensual, lingering warmth.

Eau Pour Homme is described as a sophisticated blend of fresh citrus and warm spices, underpinned by a woody, mossy base. The fragrance opens with a bright, invigorating citrus burst, evolving into a spicy, floral heart, and settling into a rich, woody drydown. The combination of vibrant top notes, aromatic spices, and deep, earthy base notes creates a timeless and elegant scent, perfect for the modern man.
