Rudross Manchester

Launched in 2023, Rudross Manchester is a newly born, Manchester, England-based niche perfumery brand. Rudross was"inspired by modernity and by moments that are created here and now...Inspired by modern youth trends, Rudross created a brand that reflects the diversity of the modern person in perfume compositions."

According to their website, the name is dedicated to the brand creator's children and comes from their names Rudy and Rossel and their hometown. "The brand’s founder keeps their identity undisclosed to shift all the attention to the fragrances." The website reveals that production facilities are located in both England and the UAE, but the company’s headquarters are situated in Manchester.

Rudross says they are "a brand that aims to heighten your senses, your feelings and personality. They have created a line of fragrance that will give you that extra boost when you need it". Rudross has a variety of fragrances to suit anyone's lifestyle, personality and activity. Within the progressive Rudross brand, there are three main collections combining a total of ten distinct fragrances. The modern fragrances are suitable for day or evening wear, and are unisex, there are no gender rules in this brand. 

Not diluted like many mainstream brands, all of the Rudross products are released in Eau de Parfum concentration only. So your fragrance will last you throughout the day and into the night. Each clear glass spray bottle is 95ml and costs $150 USD.

My favorite part, aside from the high quality fragrances themselves, are the fact that Rudross is environmentally conscious: their perfumes and packaging are made from eco-friendly materials. The packaging in my view, looks elegant with its chic black bow and is perfect for gift-giving to a special someone or as a treat for yourself.

I was sent a bottle of Proud by the company in return for my thoughts. Sometimes I am apprehensive when trying a new fragrance, because I unfortunately suffer from migraines usually induced by allergies to certain scents. I would hate to love the scent but being unable to wear it. However, I was absolutely delighted when I was able to wear Proud without experiencing any headaches or sneezing fits. I applied the perfume during the afternoon and could still smell a haunting trace of it the next morning. I was pleasantly surprised at how masterful the blending of the ingredients was. Proud lives up to its name. The saffron is very strong in this fragrance, so if you have a sensitivity to it, you may wish to go light on the spraying.

Happy with its lasting qualities and the gratifying fact it did not upset my allergies, I decided to wear it out to judge the public's reaction.

So with this in mind, and the large bottle tucked into my handbag, I wore it a second time, an evening at a local bar, listening to my friend's band play cover songs of my favorite stars. Several times during that night, I was asked what perfume I was wearing by both men and women who seemed to really enjoy it. Knowing that no one else in the venue would be wearing the same perfume, I proudly, pun intended, said, "it's called Proud from a new brand from England called Rudross." I asked if they wanted to try it out and those who said yes, I sprayed some onto their arm. I let them know that the fragrance would last all night without having to be reapplied. Some people had me spray it onto a cocktail napkin or the little coasters at the bar. Especially if they were already wearing a different perfume. I caught a few people taking a whiff from either their skin or the napkins and coasters periodically through the evening. Later on, a man stopped me in my tracks as I was leaving and asked if I would write down the name of the perfume for his wife. She was one of those who got a spritz on her skin.

I will continue to wear it out, day and night, to invite curiosity and inevitably introduce new people to the brand, with the big bottle in my purse, waiting to be spritzed.

COLLECTION - CHARACTER:

Cozy:
