So what does it smell like?A lot like Opium by Yves Saint Laurent! It is classified as an oriental perfume for women, with deliciously spicy, woodsy notes with a warm, rich vanilla base.

ReplyDeleteI read about Volage on your site and blind bought a small bottle on eBay. It is the most GLORIOUS perfume I own. It may have a superficial resemblance to vintage Opium... a classic, spicy, oriental fragrance. However, Volage has NO sweetness. It's very green by comparison. I know it's not in the note pyramid here, but I detect a lot of oakmoss. Volage is kind of like a mug of piping hot, strongly brewed coffee with a splash of milk but no sugar. It'll put hair on your chest!!
