Amerique by Courrèges c1974

Amerique de Courrèges by Courrèges: launched in 1974. It was inspired by the stories of the American West.



Amerique was available in both parfum and eau de toilette.

Fragrance Composition:


So what does it smell like? It is classified as is an aldehydic chypre floral fragrance for women. It starts with a aldehydic, green, fruity top, followed by an exotic floral heart, resting on a warm, balsamic, woody base.
  • Top notes: aldehydes, neroli, bergamot, geranium, pepper, peach, raspberry, spice oils, green note
  • Middle notes: tuberose, ylang ylang, carnation, jasmine, rose, hyacinth, mimosa, chamomile, clary sage, coriander
  • Base notes: patchouli, oakmoss, leather, civet, musk, amber, rosewood, clary sage, vetiver, sandalwood, iris, palisander wood 

Fate of the Fragrance:


Discontinued, date unknown. Still being sold in 1982.
