A. Bertelli

Established by Mario Bertelli in of 26 via Paolo Frisi, Milan Italy in 1888, the company produced pharmaceuticals. When they started selling perfumes, the perfumerie was later named Societa A. Bertelli  and their luxurious presentations were produced in France. In addition to perfumes, coordinating powder sachets could also be purchased.

Revue des marques, Parfums de France, 1938:

"We were interested in the celebration of the fiftieth anniversary of the well-known Maison, A. Bertelli et Cie S.A. in Milan. Founded in 1888 and transformed into a limited company in 1898, this Company for chemical pharmaceutical products has gradually asserted itself through an ever-growing activity, as one of the most important for the production of medicinal specialties, and also of perfume products. In these two very distinct branches, Maison Bertelli has acquired an undisputed reputation. We do not have to recall here the name of its numerous products, which have won the favor of the public throughout Italy, and also abroad. For serial retail sales, the Bertelli Company has set up very current sales stores in the main cities of Italy. His central seat in Milan, in its modern district, brings together in an imposing building, all the administrative services and the most recent technical laboratories. The branch of Maison Bertelli, in Naples, offers the visitor a very modern aspect. The founders of the House, Dir. Comm. Achille Bertelli, and the Cav. Uff. Vittorio Bertelli, gradually brought the Company to its present prosperity. Many awards have crowned such meritorious efforts; five gold medals; five certificates of honor; two standouts; and most recently the Grand Prix obtained in the Perfumery section of the International Exhibition of 1937, in Paris."
