Belle de Rauch by Madeleine de Rauch: launched in 1966.



Fragrance Composition:



So what does it smell like? It is classified as a classical floral-green woody chypre fragrance. A heady, sophisticated mixture of tropical flowers, Bulgarian roses, green leaves, herbs, moss and "Persian ambrosia". It was said to be a perfume "for the young."
  • Top notes: aldehydes, galbanum, bergamot, rosemary, mimosa, nasturtium, ginger, citron
  • Middle notes: savory, marjoram, jasmine, Bulgarian rose, narcissus, violet, lily of the valley, tuberose, tea rose
  • Base notes: sycamore, civet, patchouli, oakmoss, ambergris, vetiver, sandalwood, vanilla, labdanum, tonka bean, musk

By the early 1970s, Belle de Rauch was available in various concentrations including Parfum, Eau de Toilette and Eau de Parfum.

  • 1 oz splash
  • 2 oz splash
  • 4 oz splash

Eau de Toilette :
  • 1 oz splash
  • 2 oz splash
  • 4 oz splash
  • 8 oz splash
  • 16 oz splash
  • 2 oz Spray
  • 4 oz Spray

Eau de Parfum:
  • 2 oz Spray Mist



Fate of the Fragrance:


Discontinued sometime in the early 1990s.
