Les Parfums de Nicole

Nicole, Guillemautot & Reignard (Ing. Chim.) of Paris. Established in 1922.

Chimie & Industrie, 1924:

"The Perfumes of Nicole, Guillemautot and Reignard. General partnership, 45, rue de Courbevoie, in La Garenne (Seine). Subject: the manufacture and sale of perfumery, hygiene and beauty products. Capital: 275,000 francs."

"Among the exhibitors at the 1924 Paris Fair, it can be stated that "Nicole" attracted the attention of Perfumers and Hairdressers and especially the foreign purchasers, with its lotions, extracts and powders, which were presented in a very striking and original style, much appreciated.

In particular, Nicole's Vaporizer, in finely decorated crystal, displayed in a very original way, was a big success.

Nicole's Poupee Sachet (the doll sachet), destined to perfume the clothes of our fashionable women, is entirely superior to the old fashioned sachets; it brings into our armoire, among the laces and fine lingerie, an amusing note, which is typically Parisian.

"Hindoustan", "Divan Noir", "Ganor", "Nicosia", "Moulin Joli", are all names which evoke the most delicate scents and proclaim everywhere: The perfumes of Nicole are those of the chic lady."

Les Parfums de Nicole, a prestigious fragrance house founded in Paris in 1922 by Nicole Guillemautot & Reignard, made quite a splash at the 1924 Paris Fair. Their exquisite lotions, extracts, and powders, presented in striking and original styles, caught the attention of perfumers, hairdressers, and foreign buyers alike.

One of their standout products was Nicole's Vaporizer, crafted from finely decorated crystal, which garnered significant acclaim for its unique presentation and quality.

Another noteworthy creation was the Doll Sachet (Poupee Sachet) by Nicole, designed to impart a delightful fragrance to the clothes of fashionable women. Far superior to traditional sachets, the Doll Sachet added a charmingly Parisian touch to wardrobes, infusing a playful note among the delicate laces and fine lingerie.

With names like "Hindoustan," "Divan Noir," "Ganor," "Nicosia," and "Moulin Joli," Les Parfums de Nicole offered a range of scents that embodied elegance and sophistication, earning them the reputation as the perfumes of choice for chic ladies everywhere.
