Eau de Gucci c1982

Eau de Gucci by Gucci: originally launched in 1982, in USA in 1984. Created by Michel Almairac.  Also, another vintage version called Eau de Gucci Concentrée (Concentrated) was available in the 1980s, it was more intense than regular old Eau de Gucci.



Fragrance Composition:


So what does it smell like? It was classified as a fresh, green woodsy floral fragrance for women.
  • Top notes: green note, lemon, aldehydes, tangerine, bergamot, hyacinth, ylang ylang and mandarin orange
  • Middle notes: honeysuckle, rose, orris, orange blossom, lilac, jasmine, violet, tuberose, and lily of the valley
  • Base notes: cedar, amber, musk, oakmoss, sandalwood, vetiver, and vanilla

Fate of the Fragrance:


Discontinued, date unknown. It was still being sold in 1988.

Reformulated and relaunched in 1993.




It is classified as a floral fragrance for women.
  • Top notes: mandarin orange, limette, hyacinth, ylang-ylang, bergamot, lemon and galbanum
  • Middle notes: honeysuckle, tuberose, lily, violet, lilac, iris, jasmine, lily-of-the-valley and rose
  • Base notes: opoponax, benzoin, myrrh, amber, musk, oakmoss, vanilla, vetiver and cedar
