Van Cleef Pour Homme by Van Cleef & Arpels: launched in 1978.
Fragrance Composition:
So what does it smell like? It is classified as a rich dry leather chypre fragrance for men. The all natural fragrance is a floral, spice and Virginian tobacco blend. "Top notes are a fresh vivid blend of cistus and lavender. Middle notes are a complex combination of the floral notes Italian jasmine and rose petals with the essence of clove. Authentic vetiver from Java base notes are punctuated by decisive tones of Mysore sandalwood and oakmoss."
It begins with a spicy top note, followed by a spicy woody heart, layered over a leathery, mossy base.
The bottle was designed by Pierre Dinand in 1978 and manufactured by Pochet et du Courval.

VC&A Pour Homme is now available again, but only in the brand's perfume shop in Place Vendôme (Paris). It has now joined the "Collection Extraordinaire" so not in the same bottle as before. The formula seems to be the same as a few years ago.
