Xydes of Portugal was established by Pierre-Andre Pignel in Portugal; later moved to 9 rue Gounod, Paris.

"Ambre de Xydes" Julien VIARD. Exceptional glass bottle, decorated with two embossed heads of faun accented with black patina in a frame enhanced with gilding. The four sides of the bottle have a raised gold-colored scroll pattern framing a purple patinated glass bead. Stopper with a Hispano-Moorish decoration with a gray patina.
