Louis Avenel of 24 rue de Rocher, Paris, established in 1900 and had major exports to Great Britain.

Bottles:

Some of their presentations featured Viard bottles. The bottle for Sappho was designed by Julien Viard and made by C. Depinoix et Fils.

The flacon for Thais was designed by Lucien Gaillard and featured applied scarabs on the bottle.

One of the goals of this website is to show the present owners of the various perfumes and cologne brands that are featured here how much we miss the discontinued classics and hopefully, if they see that there is enough interest and demand, they will bring back these fragrances!
