La Corbeille Royale was established by Emile Lemesre in Paris, Passage Violet 4. They also had a branch in Brussels at 80 an, 82 and 84 rue Coenraets.
The company launched a range of fragrances starting in 1860. They also produced perfumed soaps, cosmetics, skin care and toilet requisites. Their most popular products were Psyche and Creme Lethe, both cosmetic preparations.
