Nogara - Pelissier Aragon - Les Fontaines Parfumees

Nogara, Les Fontaines Perfumees, of Grasse France, was established in 1902 by Louis-Francois Pelissier. Around 1910, a major branch opened in Paris. The company produced perfumes, soaps and cosmetics.

They were affiliated to Pellisier-Aragon, a company that produced essential oils for perfumers as well as their own line of perfumes. Nogara is Aragon spelled backwards.



Pellisier-Aragon of Grasse was an essential oil and perfume producer established by E. Alziary in c1850. In 1863 became Alziary et Barbe and from 1873 Pelissier-Aragon. In 1924 Emile-André Pelissier changed name to Les Fontaines Parfumées.

Nogara created beautiful presentations using bottles by Maurice Depinoix.

Louis-Francois Pelissier Aragon of the establishment of Pelissier Aragon at Grasse died on April 13, 1914 and the company was ran by Emile Pelissier the sole surviving partner into the 1920s.
