Parfums Ybry

Parfums Ybry (Pronounced Ee-Bree) of Paris France, they also had an office in New York City. Ybry perfumes were advertised as being "the most expensive in the world". Ybry was a luxury perfume house founded in 1925 by a man named Simon Jaroslawski (also known as Simon A. Jaroslawski-Fioret) and went into liquidation in 1932. His other two perfumery companies are Fioret and Mÿon.

Evelyn Brent's Perfume Collection

Actress Evelyn Brent was known for her love of perfume bottles, although she stated she didn't wear perfume. During two 1930s interviews, she claimed to have 147 bottles, another claimed 500! The star's boudoir featured a special three tiered glass cabinet in which she displayed her flacons. Also displayed amongst her bottles are the fragile glass animals by the Bimini glassblowers. You can see these at the corner closest to her face, a white swan stands up regally amongst the other fauna.

ON EBAY! VERY RARE YBRY BACCARAT PERFUME ATOMIZER

 Here is a rare find you won't see everyday. This antique perfume atomizer was manufactured in France by Baccaray for Parfums Ybry in the 1920s. It is made up of red overlaid crystal. These are so hard to find nowadays, many were part of a gift set which held other Ybry bottles, so if your gift set is missing an atomizer, here ya go! Vintage Boudoirs of the Stars #1

I love pictures of old boudoirs, especially of those belonging to the stars, whether they were their personal sanctuaries of beauty or sets from a movie. The exquisite vanities filled with all sorts of perfume bottles and dresser accessories never fail to pique my interest.

In this photo I can identify several perfume bottles of Guerlain's Vol de Nuit/Sous Le Vent, Chanel, Caron's Bellodgia, Caron's Pois de Senteur de Chez Moi, a Lalique perfume bottle, Blue Grass by Elizabeth Arden, Ciro's Reflexions, Infusion de Parfum by Ybry, Essence Rare by Houbigant, Patou's Joy, New Horizons by Ciro, Zibeline by Weil, as well as a few Czech bottles and unknown bottles. She is holding the largest size of the Ybry perfumes, which is for the Toilet Water.
